APPOINTS ADVISORY BOARD
NEW YORK, NY. July 9, 2002 Tell-Eureka Corporation,

announced appointments to its Advisory Board.
The board's depth of expertise across all facets
of the business, including customer support, voice
recognition, and enterprise software products,
reflects the company's focus on developing a true
and innovative solution to the challenges of cost
containment and customer retention in the call
center.

Tell-Eureka advisory board members include:
Esther Levin, Ph.D. Dr. Levin is the Chief
Scientist at Telelogue, a company whose software
enables telephone users to search databases and
directories through a voice user interface, and
a recognized leader in the scientific community
for her research on Automated Speech Recognition-based
dialog systems. Prior to Telelogue, she spent
more than 13 years at Bell Laboratories and AT&T
Research where she was a lead figure in the DARPA
ATIS and Communicator projects, which revolutionized
the field of Advanced Speech Recognition.
Roberto Pieraccini, Ph.D. Dr. Pieraccini
is an internationally renowned speech scientist
with more than 20 years in the field. Currently
at SpeechWorks International he leads the Natural
Dialog group, an R&D team devoted to pushing the
technology of commercial dialog systems to the
new frontiers of human-machine interaction including
multi-modal applications. Prior to joining SpeechWorks,
Pieraccini worked at AT&T Laboratories, AT&T Bell
Laboratories, and CSELT in Torino, Italy. He has
authored and co-authored more than 100 papers
on the subjects of speech recognition, language
modeling, language understanding, and dialog.
Douglas W. Smith. Mr. Smith has more than
30 years of operational experience with both public
and private technology companies, has built and
successfully run direct sales organizations, and
has established alternate distribution channels,
including OEM, both domestically and internationally.
He has launched critical products into competitive
markets. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President
of Strategic Business Development and International
Operations at Davox, a worldwide leader in customer
interaction management solutions.
Michael Suvalle. Mr. Suvalle is Vice President
of Customer Care at LoJack Corporation, a leading
provider of technology systems that locate, track,
and recover stolen vehicles. He is a leader in
customer service and call center operations with
30 years experience in sales, marketing, logistics
and service for B2C and B2B marketplaces. Previously,
as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service
Operations for Polaroid Corporation, he converted
customer service from a cost to a profit center
and reengineered worldwide service strategy.
James Tousignant. Mr. Tousignant is Managing
Director, Global Strategic Accounts for Thomson
Financial, responsible for overseeing US, European
and Asian Global account management teams. He
has more than 20 years experience in financial
services and software industries, and before that
was Managing Director for Business Development
and e-Commerce at Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan
Stanley, Tousignant was a co-founder, president
and board member of Multex.com, where he raised
over $100 million in private capital from venture
capital and strategic investors.
William R. Ziegler. Mr. Ziegler is of counsel
to the law firm of Satterlee Stephens Burke &
Burke. Previously he was a partner at Parson &
Brown and Whitman & Ransom (Whitman Breed Abbott
& Morgan). He has practiced corporate and securities
law since 1968 and has been a private equity investor
in numerous industries. He is a director of public
and private companies. He helped found and was
Vice Chairman, Falcon Drilling Company, Inc.,
and serves as Chairman of Vesta Corp., Somerset
Gas Transmission, Tablogix, iForce and Vice Chairman
of Grey Wolf, Somerset Energy and Union Drilling.
