Tell-Eureka Joins Microsoft Speech Partner Program

Develops its LevelOne voice self-service solution for Microsoft Speech Server platform

NEW YORK, NY—February 23, 2004—Tell-Eureka Corp. today announced it has joined the Microsoft Speech Partner Program. Tell-Eureka is developing its LevelOne Virtual CSR voice self-service platform to run on Microsoft Speech Server.

" Microsoft has simplified the development and deployment of speech recognition applications through its Speech Server," said Zor Gorelov, founder and CEO of Tell-Eureka. "By partnering with Microsoft, Tell-Eureka will extend its LevelOne voice self-service solution to a broader base of enterprise customers."

Based on Microsoft’s .NET technology and Web services, LevelOne Virtual CSR is a voice self-service solution that automates first-level customer support using conversational speech recognition. LevelOne resolves common product and service issues quickly and effectively without live agent assistance. With compelling ROI advantages for contact centers, LevelOne can significantly reduce the cost per call and overall cost of operations.

Microsoft Speech Server, to be launched at the co-located VSLive! 2004, AVIOS ~ SpeechTEK Spring 2004 and Microsoft Mobile Developers Conference (DevCon) 2004 on March 24 in San Francisco, combines Web technologies, speech-processing services and telephony capabilities into a single system that runs on Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003. This will simplify the deployment and management of speech-based applications, such as LevelOne for voice self-service. Because LevelOne already supports .NET technology and Web services, Tell-Eureka is well positioned to take full advantage of the feature-rich Microsoft Speech Server.

" Tell-Eureka’s LevelOne Virtual CSR is a prime example of how Microsoft’s speech technology can be leveraged to great business advantage in the enterprise. Bringing automated voice self-service to customer support operations reduces costs, enhances efficiencies and ultimately improves the overall quality of the caller’s experience," said James Mastan, Director of Marketing for the Speech Technologies team at Microsoft.
